Shandell Correa

Shandell Correa is a dedicated paralegal at our San Benito office of Prentice|Long, PC. Since joining the firm this year, she has been involved in a diverse range of legal areas, including business law, and municipal law,with a particular emphasis on Public Records requests. Before her tenure at Prentice|Long PC, Ms. Correa served as a legal assistant at a family law firm in Morgan Hill, where she honed her skills in legal documentation and client support. Her career began with a robust background in public service as a Correctional Officer for five years with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. In that role, she held various positions and contributed as an instructor on the In-Service Training team.

Shandell earned her Associate’s Degree in Social Science from Reedley College and a Paralegal Certificate from Auburn University. She takes pride in her customer service skills and has a longstanding commitment to serving others. With a diverse background, Ms. Correa is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of client interactions. Growing up in Madera, a small agricultural town in California, Shandell has a deep understanding of rural culture, which enhances her ability to connect with clients. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she actively serves at Gateway City Church in Hollister, where she is a valued member of the guest services team, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and valued.
